Here is DECON area. DECON is where everyone who has worked with the oil contaminated boom is dropped off and cleaned (decontaminated) and also where all the bags of oiled (contaminated) boom gets dropped off in bags and placed in these containers. The contaminated boom is pulled from the water, bagged, the double bagged, then taped and tied shut then brought to this area and placed in container. (Yesterday I did boom pick up and we pulled in 7,000 feet our crew alone!) Taken July 2010
