After not getting a call from DRC for weeks, I was finally contacted by a friend of the family who is a Captain and needed to hire 40 men for his boats. Finally! My name was then added to roster to take physical exam at medical clinic. From what I have been told the reason I was never called and it has taken almost a month to get on is because originally they were recruiting only local fisherman and those who were unemployed because of this disaster, but now, they are taking on as many as they can as the situation worstens.
